In a world that values logic and reason, it’s easy to become disconnected from our heart centers, intuition, and inner wisdom.
This week’s focus is on the heart because your heart is smart. I’ll share three simple tools to help you reconnect with your heart center, intuition, and spirit guides.
We often rely heavily on logic and reason, which are important but can lead us away from our heart centers.
When we become too focused on these, we may lose touch with our intuition, guides, angels, and our true selves.
Connecting to your heart supports you in living from the inside out, allowing you to navigate with more grace, ease, kindness, and compassion.
Tool 1: Mindfulness
Mindfulness helps to keep you grounded in the present moment, enabling you to observe your thoughts and sensations. Through mindfulness, you can distinguish between the constant chatter of your mind and the subtle promptings of your intuition.
Engaging in constant internal chatter distances us from the present moment, where our intuition resides. By practicing mindfulness and acknowledging our thoughts and feelings, we can return to the present and avoid reacting impulsively.
We can say to ourselves, “Okay, I notice that I’m thinking, I notice what I’m feeling.”
When you catch yourself overthinking, take a moment to notice how your body feels. This practice helps to bring you back into the present moment and reduce impulsiveness. Try taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling as if you’re blowing out birthday candles to center yourself back into your heart space.
Tool 2: Hand on your Heart and Belly
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Take a deep breath in through your nose, exhale, and gently close your eyes. Focus your attention on your heart space, allowing the chatter of your mind to quiet.
This is a simple practice that I use all the time, especially when I’m feeling disconnected from my heart center, when I’m feeling too caught up in my thoughts and being overly critical. It’s a simple but powerful tool. I promise it will help you instantly reconnect back to your heart center.
Tool 3: Spending Time in Nature
This is one tool that I love a lot.
Nature is a powerful tool for reconnecting with your heart center. It reminds us that we are part of a larger, living ecosystem.
Especially if you live in a city and get so into our computers, phones, and other things, it can be easy to get into your head.
Spending time in nature helps us remember that we belong and that our body is home. Mother Earth is home number one, and our body is home number two. From there, we can start to lead with more grace.
Tool 4: Body Scan and Intuition
Perform a full-body scan by sitting comfortably, closing your eyes, and scanning your body from top to bottom. Notice any areas that feel tight or constricted. With your hands on your heart and belly, use your imagination to give these sensations a voice and ask them what they’re trying to communicate.
This practice can help you identify unconscious roadblocks and clear stagnant energy, bringing you back to the present moment.
Tool 5: Practice Gratitude
Name what you love about yourself, your life, and the people around you. Speaking these things out loud can instantly raise your vibration and shift your mindset from focusing on what isn’t working to what is. By raising your vibration, you enhance your connection with your intuition, spirit, and guides.
The more we anchor these things into our energetic and feeling bodies, the more we can come back to our heart center where we feel good, connected, and supported by our guides and archangels.
I hope you enjoyed these tools for staying connected to your heart center. If you did, leave a comment sharing your favorite way to reconnect with your heart.
I’m sending you all my love and look forward to seeing you next week.
