What Type of Spirit Are You?  TAKE THE QUIZ

5 Signs You’re Shifting to a Higher Level of Consciousness

When we develop our intuition and our relationship with our Spirit, we actually rise to a whole higher level of consciousness.

This is a shift in perspective, and it affects not only our mind but also our bodies and our Spirit. There are some telltale signs that you are up-leveling your vibration and consciousness.

So today, I’m going to share with you some of those five very clear signs. You’re on your Spiritual journey. You’re developing your intuition, learning, and reading. All of these things internally are starting to change. And what we can see in a mirror in our outer world is that as our consciousness

So our very first clear sign is you find yourself wanting to spend more time alone.

When we change and shift our consciousness and perspective and deepen our relationship with our Spirit, it often means that we become a lot more sensitive to the world around us. Things that once were fun, such as being out with your friends or being in a restaurant or anything like that, can feel a lot more grating or intense to our physical bodies than they once were.

And that’s because we are raising our sensitivity. Not only that, but integration happens in the rest. That sign that you want to spend time alone, that you want to be in your own energy, really is allowing you not only to integrate but also to move into more ownership of your intuition.

Plus, when we’re alone, we can create the container for our intuition, for deeper listening. So give yourself all the permission in the world to have all of the alone time.

I know I need it all to “literally” sometimes tell my boyfriend that I need to be alone. And that’s because as sensitives, we really need it. And if you’re in that Spiritual growth pattern and period, you really need it. So give it to yourself with a lot of grace.

Second, the other big sign that we’ll see when you are leveling your consciousness is you’ll take things less personally.

When we shift our consciousness to these higher levels, we actually change our relationship with our ego. That’s the part of ourselves that protects us from the world around us. And the ego looks at the world as me against you. And it takes things really personally. It often will get very defensive or reactive or play into these same patterns.

So, when you’re growing and shifting, you’ll notice that you’re less reactive. You don’t take things in so personally.

You feel much more connected and peaceful first to yourself and to the world around you; you can often see the Spirit of others. Even under challenging relationships, you can appreciate their quality. What it is that you love about them and recognize that a lot of times they’re blah, blah, blah. It’s just their barking dog, not something that is a mirror to you.

Third, a big one that I see a lot and that can be really challenging is that relationships that once felt good aren’t as fulfilling as they once were.

These might be friendships or romantic relationships in our families.

You’ll find that you’re a lot more drained by small talk. You’ll find that you want a lot more emotional connection, depth, and reciprocity.

It’s interesting because when you start to change and grow, you create change within the system. And that means that what’s once felt good doesn’t.

It’s almost like when you’re in a growth spurt, and you put on a jacket, and it used to be your favorite jacket, and now you’re like, This is a little small, a little clenched, and I find that for a lot of people, this can be really challenging.

It doesn’t mean that you have to be all or nothing in your relationships, especially if they’re long-term. We can move them to a different compartment of our lives.

Now, if they’re toxic, negative, if they don’t support or uplift you, then we can think about taking the axe cause sometimes that is a really self-loving thing to do. But in the same way, we can just change how we approach and how much time and energy that we give to it.

So don’t be judgmental or harsh or critical of yourself. Just see it as a sign of growth and that you need a community and people who can witness and support you in that same depth. That’s why having good spiritual communities like, say, Psychic YOUniversity (which I just wrapped up and will be releasing again) is so important that we have these incubators and these relationships that help foster the growth we are undergoing.

Number four is when we shift levels of consciousness, we also find that we have a lot more self-love and self-compassion.

Our ego-intellect can be very critical of ourselves, very black and white, and often uses that as a way to motivate us.

When we raise our consciousness and vibration, we transition more deeply into our heart center. This shift enables us to offer ourselves increased grace, patience, and understanding. We begin to perceive ourselves through the lens of our spiritual essence, recognizing both our gifts and human limitations as facets of our humanness.

As we embrace greater patience, compassion, and self-compassion, the love we cultivate for ourselves naturally extends to others. Through this cultivation, we evolve into more compassionate, connected, patient, and loving individuals within our world.

And last but not least, one of my favorites is when you experience profound shifts in consciousness, allowing you to break free from the same old patterns and stories.

One thing that I know to be true as human beings is we love a pattern. We love to repeat ourselves. We find comfort in it.

It might be a family dynamic, it might be a dynamic in a relationship. It might be a pattern that you have within yourself where you can notice patterns or things that repeat over and over and over again.

For example, a pattern might be if I make a mistake then I am really critical of myself and then I end up actually just checking out onto my phone, tiktok or whatever, as a way to self-soothe. An old pattern that doesn’t serve me is maybe I overgive to people, and don’t say no.

These pattern can be outworn.

When we raise our vibration, we raise our consciousness. We actually can just see that as a pattern. And instead of getting into this automatic loop of doing it over and over again, we do something new.

Instead of saying yes when we mean NO, we say, “I’m sorry, I’m not available.”

If we make a mistake, we say, “I did a good job, I will learn from it and move on.”

When we’re in a relationship, we don’t get into these same fights.

A change of perspective changes how we interact with the world.

So these are just a few signs to really notice. And if you notice any of them, celebrate yourself. This is a gift of the work that you’ve been doing. These are the fruits. These are the flowers that bloom in your garden that you’ve been tilling so beautifully.

You’re doing a beautiful job. Continue to work on it.

And no matter what, always connect with your Spirit every single day more. You feed and tend your Spirit. The more that you will nurture and grow, the more your consciousness will shift. The more that your perspective will change. So it’s all interconnected.
